Noaber Meilink hosts 'The Day of the Berkellandse Entrepreneur'.

On Thursday, September 29, 2016, the Platform BV Berkelland organized for the sixth time a meeting for all Berkelland entrepreneurs. This year Meilink in Borculo was the host. Numerous Berkelland companies and organizations were given the opportunity to present themselves, including Meilink. The theme? Noaberschap. Peter Rikken, DGA of Meilink: "It is always amazing to see how much entrepreneurship there is in your own immediate surroundings. We also noticed this positive surprise among the visitors about Meilink itself."

The front of the wood storage hall of Meilink became the central point for reception and networking during the well-attended Day for the Berkellandse Entrepreneur. The space turned out to be ideal to receive the approximately 150 guests. The visitors were then divided into small groups for a guided tour; the Noabertour. Several Meilink employees acted as guides. During the Noabertour, Meilink presented itself together with a number of noabers. Peter Rikken: "This theme fits us perfectly. Especially in the manufacturing industry, for things you can't do or produce yourself, you first look around for partners in your immediate vicinity. It is always striking to see how much quality you can call on in your immediate surroundings. But it also means being there for each other when things get tough."

Introduction to new communication theme

During this event, a short film made by the communication agency Dévelp was shown, in which the new campaign theme was playfully explained: 'Any challenge, any time'. Peter Rikken: "This film shows how Meilink fictitiously moves the Statue of Liberty. As a striking signal that, in principle, we can realize any packaging and transport challenge. In later conversations with visitors, I noticed that there was a positive response to this."
